Capturing Light
Whether capturing a moment in a still or the passage of time in video, cameras must capture light to present an image, and the essential mechanics are the same for both. Camera work is a blend of science and art. Higher levels of technical knowledge and skill facilitate greater intentional creativity. Here, I hope you will find lessons by people gifted in making the technical accessible.

Eve mentions that ND filters have no creative impact on the image. While that's correct for true tinted ND filters, variable ND filters use a set of polarized lenses to cut down light. Without getting technical, polarized light can remove reflections from glossy surfaces like glass and water and can affect color saturation.
The Five Pillars of Exposure
All camera work is essentially capturing light. There are five ways to control the light hitting your sensor and most of those have a creative effect. Understanding exposure controls gives you more creative control, more freedom to realize your vision.

Eve has a high level of technical knowledge about what she does AND has a gift for explaining complex concepts in simple and practical terms. Her instructionals have all of the technical knowledge you need without getting bogged down in the science. What's more, her videos pack great visual examples.

Realm has some pay content that I'm sure is worth the cost of access. Their free content is definitely noteworthy.
